Achieving Environmental Sustainability
At the beginning of 2008, UB launched a new set of specific targets to help the business achieve environmental sustainability. We have now published our progres report for 2009 demonstrating that we have made such progress that we have now had to increase several of the targets we have set.

The targets cover the following areas:
- Reducing carbon emissions and energy use
- Reducing waste sent to landfill
- Reducing water
- Reducing packaging waste
- Increasing our use of environmentally friendly transport
- Increasing sustainable sourcing
