The McCoy’s brand is now the 3rd biggest brand in the bagged snacks market.
The Real McCoy's ridge cut crisps were designed and built with men in mind to give a substantial and involving eat that could satisfy the male appetite using real potatoes with real food flavours.
Year on year the McCoy's brand is being bought by more people, more often, with 5 million packs consumed in each week: that is 8 packs per second, with nearly a third of all UK households enjoying the brand.
Holding a truly unique competitive position in the market, as the only overtly male-targeted crisp brand, McCoy's has been able to make a conscious move to build upon its quality credentials through the launch of 'McCoy's Limited Editions'.
Core range flavours include the best selling Flame Grilled Steak, Salt & Malt Vinegar, and Cheddar & Onion. Limited Edition ranges have included Winter Warmers (Lamb & Mint Flavour and Steak & Ale Pie Flavour) and Take Away Flavours (Chicken Curry, Southern Fried Chicken Wings, Chinese Sweet & Sour Ribs).
In 2006 McCoy's launched McCoy's Tortillas - a unique ridged tortilla chip available in BBQ Chicken, Cool Ranch, Hot Chilli and Nacho Cheese Flavours.
New for 2009! Keep an eye out for the latest McCoy's limited edition, McCoy's Twisted, available since February.
The new range takes classic McCoy's flavours and adds a tongue tingling twist with chilli. Available until mid-September 2009, the range includes a Salt & Malt Vinegar with Chilli handy pack and a multipack made up of three packs of Salt & Malt Vinegar with Chilli and three packs of Cheddar & Onion with Jalapeno.
In addition to the new limited edition variants, the McCoy's range has recently undergone a packaging refresh to emphasis a further 30% reduction in saturated fat levels.
Sitting alongside firm favourites like Cheddar & Onion, a new Sizzling King Prawn flavour handy pack is also available.
